Donate a Book, Continue the Story

Makenna Serene Morse (1997-2024), aka Ms. Morse, was an educator, a poet, and a book lover.

Makenna’s Books is collecting book donations for Little Free Libraries across Michigan in memory of the literary fans who are no longer with us.

Continue your loved one’s story by donating a book in their honor, or in honor of Makenna.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Donate a book from Bookshop.org or Amazon.com

  2. IMPORTANT: Please “Add a Gift Message” at checkout to include your name, and the name of the individual you are honoring. If you wish to remain anonymous, please include this in your message as well. We would also love for you to share a note about your loved one and let us know who they were; their story matters!

  3. The book will be labeled with a custom memorial sticker honoring your loved one and donated to a Little Free Library in MI.

  4. Book recipients are encouraged to share a note with us on Facebook or Instagram about how the donated book impacted them! #MakennasBooks
