Favorites
Makenna shared her love of literature with her friends and family; especially her daughter. The donation list includes some of her favorite books, as well as some that remind us of her.
Donation Process
The donation list is curated through Bookshop.org who works to connect readers with independent booksellers all over the world.
They believe local bookstores are essential community hubs that foster culture, curiosity, and a love of reading, and are committed to helping them thrive.
Every purchase on the site financially supports independent bookstores. Their platform gives independent bookstores tools to compete online and financial support to help them maintain their presence in local communities.
When you purchase a book through our donation link, the book will be mailed directly to Makenna’s family where it will be custom labeled before being donated to a Little Free Library in Michigan.
PLEASE "Add a Gift Message" DURING CHECKOUT WITH YOUR NAME or write "Anonymous"! (Gift messages really help us out because we don't receive packing slips. Without a gift message we don't know who sent the book without jumping through some hoops!)
*If you are donating on behalf of a loved one, please share a note about them as well - let us know who they were, their story matters!
Books will be custom labeled with a memorial sticker before being donated.
